Go Fourth! It Is the Final Countdown for Amazon Prime Day Live Coverage
It's Day Four. Somehow it's still Prime Day. The deals are live. The deals are wild. The deals are almost feral. We are still here in the trenches digging up the deals and trends.
It is the final day of Amazon Prime Day—the final countdown, the time of FOMO dread, the last official day of the best deals. The fourth day is the day when we bring you the sun, the moon, and the stars. After today, many things will cost a little bit more for the foreseeable future—especially laptops.
But new deals are still rolling out all day today. Friday is the day when a lot of you get your paychecks, and so Amazon is filling up the virtual racks with impulse buys. We'll be out here sorting the true deals from the fake deals. You worked hard for that paycheck, and we plan to make sure you get something really good out of it. Like, 40% off Bose headphones good. You know? We all persist together.
We will update our overview of the absolute best Amazon Prime Day deals three times today. We'll add new terrific deals. We'll cut the deals that already died, or that don't look quite as fresh. And we'll be here live all day with the most Lightning of deals, mowing our lawn with robots while we work, and spouting bum opinions about how you shouldn't spend more than $500 on a Chromebook.
We're here. It's still Prime Day. It is always Prime Day.

This Is the Most You Need to Spend on a Chromebook
Honestly, does a Chromebook more than $500 make sense? Kinda the whole point of a Chromebook, for me personally, is that it's a way of getting a laptop for less than $500 that isn't resolutely terrible. So you make some trade-offs. You farm your memory to the cloud, you give up a little flexibility, and you get a cheap laptop that can still perform.
Our resident Chromebook expert, Luke Larsen, has strong arguments to the contrary, so maybe I'm just a cheapskate. But speaking as a cheapskate, this $340 deal on the Chromebook Plus 515 hits the sweet spot between solid performance and "I don’t want to pay more than $500 for a Chromebook."
So Long, and Thanks for All the Deals
All right, world: So ends another year of live Amazon Prime Day Deals coverage.
It's been real. And it's been really long. Four days. Hundreds of deals fielded as they happened—many of which still live until 3 a.m. Eastern tonight.
We'll leave this liveblog up until the Prime Day deals sunset tonight. But in the meantime, be sure to check out the hundred or so Absolute Best Prime Day Deals still active as of 9 p.m. Eastern time.
Or, depending on who you are, take a look at the best Apple Prime Day Deals, the best Prime Day Headphone Deals, or the Best Deals Under $100.
We'll be sure to check in next week to see if any of the best Prime Day deals have stuck around past the witching hour. Until then, enjoy the World Cup … and the little pile of packages soon to arrive on your doorstep.
Stock Up on Low-Cost Essentials
A lot of people use Prime Day to find great deals on big-ticket, wish-list items. But honestly? At this point in the day, with six hours left? Just find yourself some nice household goods that happen to be a little bit discounted, like this smart bulb my colleague Nena Farrell swears by. They're handy. And you can set them to turn on or off on a schedule—for example, while you're on vacation.
Or maybe check out some useful items like a cheap outdoor speaker or sound bar. WIRED's guide to the Best Prime Day Deals Under $100 is a good place to look, here. For even more useful or fun (and even more affordable) things, see WIRED's guide to the Best Prime Day Deals Under $30. Even the littlest sales deserve respect.
All the Apple Deals That Are Fit to Be Had
The Apple deals have been dropping like, uh, apples, on the last day of Prime Day. It seemed like once an hour, another deal went dead. But this is it! This is the definitive list of all the best Apple Prime Day Deals that are still alive, with only about 6 more hours of Prime Day to go.
Some very good deals remain, including $70 off AirPods Pro 3, and $120 off the Apple Watch Series 11. But note that whether a deal is still live for you might depend on your region. Amazon is just like that, sometimes.
Get Ya $1 Streaming!
Hey, guess what? The streaming channels know you're going outside more often during the summer. And they want you back. So for Prime Day, they're trying to incentivize you to wander inside for a chill evening.
A whole lot of channels, from Paramount Plus to MGM Plus, are offering dirt-cheap, $1 a month, two-month trials on Prime Day, as long as you subscribe through the Amazon Prime platform.
In a quite rare move, even Apple TV is getting in on the action—offering a half-off deal for two months. Apple TV never used to offer multi-month discounts… but then, they never used to cost $12 a month, either.
Check out the Prime Day streaming deals here, while they last.
A Great iPad Mini Deal (While It Lasts!
In the least surprising development in all of Prime Day, the Prime Day Apple Deals are selling out fast. But you can still snag the WiFi 6E + 5G cellular-capable version of the Apple iPad Mini, for like $200 off. It's never been the cheapest iPad, but the compact size is the biggest draw—perfect for one-handed use or for lounging on the couch.
Note that the deal on the cheaper version without cellular data capabilities has already peaced out for Prime Day 2026. So this is where we sit. Apple deals don't last. This one's here, but only as long as it lasts.
Check out the best remaining Prime Day Apple deals here.
Become a Hair Farmer
It's too late for me. But for the past year I've been watching my colleagues (and my colleagues' partners) grow thicker hair on their heads using red light therapy devices. This iRestore Elite is one of our favorites, an FDA-cleared helmet that offers full scalp coverage with 300 lasers and 200 LED lights. The rechargeable battery is solid, lasting up to two weeks with daily use.
These systems are extravagantly constructed, and don't come cheap—which makes this 33 percent Prime Day deal a quite significant price break.
Choose Between Two Great Pixel Buds Deals
The Pixel Buds 2a are our favorite earbuds overall, even beating out the ever-popular AirPods, whose Prime Day sales are busy selling out. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a terrific premium version, best for Android users. Both go on sale a lot, but both are also on their best sales of the year today. Good for you.
The Most Economical Showerhead That Filters Chlorine
Canopy was among the early wave of filtered showerheads, designed to remove chlorine from your water and thus make your showers much gentler on your hair, your hair dye, and your skin. It's also one of the minority to actually reduce total chlorine to undetectable levels, according to my testing.
Anyway, this $50 discount is a great Prime Day deal. And Canopy's filter replacements are among the lowest cost in the game, only $25 every three months—making this the most economical shower system that still works. The showerhead is also thoughtfully designed, easy to install, and reasonably handsome, which doesn't hurt. Others of my top picks are tested to filter more substances. But for chlorine? Easy pick.
An Indoor Garden for Cityfolk
Hello, city apartment dwellers, desperately in need of greenery. In Philly, a city that for some reason hates a park and hates trees even more, this was certainly me. This Gardyn is the answer, a petite version of WIRED's favorite Indoor Gardening System. In a setup that only takes up 1.4 square feet, great for small spaces, you can still fit 16 plants in proprietary rockwool cubes. Only one lone light bar means that growth won't be quite as dramatic as in the larger Home model. But it's pretty, it's compact, and it'll lower your cortisol levels. Gardyn wants you to pay for a subscription. But you can still use the gardening system without it by following tips and advice on Gardyn Facebook pages or subreddits. Anyway, this system is more than $100 off right now for Prime Day.
This Shark Vacuum Deal Died On Amazon. You Can Still Get it From SharkNinja
This is the best cordless vacuum, according to my colleague NEne Farrell. It thumped the Dyson Gen5detect when picking up loose bits of cereal or sand. It's got a self-emptying docking station. It's nice, and the $150 off Prime Day deal is nice. But it's out of stock on Amazon now, at least where I am. Never fear! You can still get the deal directly from SharkNinja. Go there. Get the best cordless vacuum.
This Cooler Can Fight Bears
Yeti coolers are on sale right now. Like, a lot of Yeti coolers are on sale. Yeti sales don't happen a lot, because Yeti knows you'll buy their coolers anyway. ,So that's notable.
Anyway, because I live in Oregon, where black bears just looooove to nose around a campsite, the only coolers I want are the ones that'll frustrate a large and curious mammal.
This Tundra 45 is the campsite special, the one that fits in the back of your car and packs enough meat and beer to last the three-day weekend, and will fight a bear to protect it. It's $87 off.
Your Most Diligent Fan in the Bedroom
It's hot now. Summer's like that. But rather than waste energy blasting air conditioning all night, try a fan instead. Maybe even try the best bedroom fan, according to reviews team editor and resolute fan tester Kat Merck. It's compact, it's nearly silent, and it'll oscillate both ways: vertical and horizontal.
It’s also compatible with Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa, which means you can set it for a timer—or make yourself a custom RBG nightlight, if you so desire. These deal's not huge, but it's a reasonably priced fan to begin with, and it's the lowest price we've seen all year.
Lightning Deal! Half Off Beats Solo 4 Headphones
These Beats Solo 4s fly in the face of a lot of headphone trends. No noise canceling, which lets you preserve battery life and also—you know—still live in and be aware of the world you actually live in, if you happen to be out for a jog or on a bike ride.
But also, instead of the big, brash, bass-heavy sound, WIRED reviewer Ryan Waniata noted that these Solo 4s lean instead balanced, delicate, nuanced, and warm. Gosh, is Beats getting all sensitive these days? Either way, in a late doorbuster deal, they're half off on Amazon.
This Bird Feeder Is a Crack Photographer
There are a surprising number of smart bird feeders in the world these days that'll alert your phone and give you fun videos of all your avian visitors—including, since Father's Day, in my parents' backyard. (They're pretty tickled with it, if you must know.)
But none take better, higher-resolution pics than this Hibird Pro: 32 MP with 4K HD video. And so while the app is not as awesome as Birdfy's or Birdbuddy's, the footage is beautiful And you can even watch it in slo-mo if you'd like. This is the lowest price we've seen on the Pro, ever.
The AirPods Max 2 $399 Deal Is Selling Out—But Not at Walmart!
Hey, pssssssssst! It's me, the dude in the Walmart parking lot you're trying not to talk to. I just want to tell you something. The killer AirPods Max 2 deal, which is sold out on Amazon (at least in my region)? Well, you can still get the deal at Walmart.
Here, at this majestic superstore, these excellent AirPods Max 2 are still $399—even though Apple's site wants to sell you the same exact headphones for $549. Crazy, right? Just goes to show: You should talk to more people hanging out in the Walmart parking lot.
This Toaster Oven Air Fryer Is a Shockingly Good Deal at $130
Whenever it goes on a good sale, which it does about twice a year, I always recommend this excellent stainless steel toaster oven and air fryer to any friends who live on tight budgets but need a good accessory oven. I don't know any air fryer oven under $150 that crisps fries and wings as well as this TOA-70, while maintaining excellent temperature accuracy across the full surface of the oven. Which is to say, it toasts, it air fries, it bakes.
Trade-offs are that though it'll still fit a 12-inch pizza, it's smaller than a lot of accessory ovens. The dials are analog. And the aluminized stainless steel surface can be tough to clean if you bake on grease—meaning you've got to stay on top of cleaning or it'll eventually look like a crime scene. But if you can trust yourself to swipe out the oven every few cooks, you'll be in great shape—for very little money.
This Multigroom Is Kinda Always the Best Deal in Beard Trimmers
The best deal in beard trimmers is pretty much always this Philips Norelco Multigroom. It's a great no-guard neck shaver. It's a great nose trimmer. It has seemingly unlimited guard lengths for whatever beard you got. And the battery lasts five hours. And yet it's less than $100 on a bad day. It's 30 percent off on a good day. Which is Prime Day.
But Wait—a Monitor Deal Less than $100?
The Pro MP243W E14 from MSI (more affectionately known as the Pro 24), does not have a catchy name. But it is the best budget monitor we at WIRED know to exist for less than $100. The screen's a mere 24 inches, so you won't be wowing yourself with expansive vistas. But at a small desk, this may still be ideal.
The image quality is still solid, and color saturation is not bad. Color accuracy is decent also. It's not good enough for professional color graders, mind you, but perfectly fine for teachers grading papers.
This monitor goes on sale a lot, but this $85 price ties the best we've seen this year.
These Are the Best TV Deals, According to Our AV Team
The best time to buy a TV is on Black Friday. The second best time is Amazon Prime Day. Our A/V team at WIRED compiled a list of deals on some of our favorite TVs. From the Samsung Frame Pro for $1,498 ($600 off) to the Amazon Ember Artline TV for $900 ($200 off) and the Hisense U7SG QLED for $850 ($650 off), we've tested it all. You can find more deals in our roundup.
Stop Yelling at Your Fire Stick. Upgrade It Instead, on the Cheap
You know that thing where you click on an app, excited to stream Twin Peaks: The Return for like the third time, and then instead your stupid TV lags, the app boots slowly, and the cruddy buffering turns a masterpiece into a mklhsterpiekjhce?
Yeah, if it's not the. batteries (which it might be), it's time to get a new and better streaming stick. If your home is hooked up with Amazon's smart home systems like Alexa, this top-line, second-generation Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the one you want. Expanded storage and Wi-Fi 6E support mean downloads and buffering are both a lot faster. Plus this model has voice control, which means searching for shows and movies is also a lot faster.
This is a great deal, more than 40 percent off. The price hasn't been quite this low anytime in the last year.
