Trump’s ‘American Flag Blue Paint’ Is Already Peeling Off The Reflecting Pool

US president Donald Trump’s recently-completed renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool has run into more trouble. Just days after the eight-week project, which cost more than $14 million, was completed, algae bloomed in the hot weather in Washington, DC. Now, several days later again, paint or sealant installed on the bottom of the pool, the color of which Trump described as “American flag blue,” appears to be peeling away.
