Dana Alomar

Dana Alomar is the digital editor at WIRED Middle East, overseeing digital storytelling across the brand’s technology and innovation coverage. Prior to joining WIRED Middle East, Alomar was the future editor at The National, reporting on AI, emerging technologies, and their impact across the region. A UAE-born Syrian journalist and on-camera reporter, Alomar has interviewed tech leaders, founders, and policymakers, and moderated conversations at major regional events including COP28, the World Government Summit, and the Dubai Future Forum. She graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a BA in Journalism and a minor in History.
