Subject: Sega Emerges From Dreamcast Ashes
Sounds to me like somebody wants to have their cakeand eat it too ("Sega Emerges From Dreamcast Ashes," May 19, 2001). Consoles are generally sold at a loss and moneyis made on game licensing and game sales. Almost since the day Dreamcast began shipping, the disc copy protection was cracked and pirated copies were abundantly available. I would like to know how many of these Dreamcast owners now throwing tantrums are in possession of pirated copies of the games.
