Earnhardt was killed two weeks ago at the Daytona 500 and Florida law allows news media to obtain copies of autopsy photographs under certain circumstances. Now Mrs. Earnhardt, fearing that the photos could wind up on the Internet (probably a well-founded fear), is urging race fans to petition the Florida legislature in order to block their release.
